Tigerway Team Members and Families,
The May SAT Exam is tomorrow! It's natural if you are feeling a mix of excitement and nerves!
You've put in the hard work and preparation, and now it's time to showcase your skills and knowledge.
To help you feel confident and prepared for tomorrow's exam, here are some last-minute tips and reminders
Review Your Study Materials
Take some time tonight to review key concepts, formulas, and strategies that you've learned during your SAT preparation. Focus on areas where you feel less confident and use practice questions to reinforce your understanding.
Get a Good Night's Sleep
Adequate rest is essential for optimal cognitive function and performance. Aim to get a full night's sleep to ensure you wake up feeling refreshed and alert for the exam tomorrow.
Plan Your Morning Routine
Set out your clothes, identification, admission ticket, and any other materials you'll need for the exam. Planning your morning routine will help reduce stress and ensure you arrive at the test center on time.
Pack Your Exam Day Essentials!!!
Don't forget to pack your exam day essentials, including:
Admission ticket: Ensure you have a printed copy of your admission ticket with your photo attached.
Acceptable photo identification: Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, etc).
#2 pencils: Pack several sharpened #2 pencils with erasers for scratch work! Even though it’s digital, you should have one in case you need to scribble something down!
Calculator: Bring an approved calculator for the Math section (graphing calculator recommended).
Snacks and water: Pack snacks like energy bars, fruit, or nuts, and a water bottle to stay hydrated and fueled during breaks.
Watch: Bring a watch to keep track of time during the exam since digital watches are not allowed.
Stay Calm and Confident
Remember that you've prepared diligently for this moment, and you have the skills and knowledge to succeed. Trust in yourself and your abilities, and approach the exam with confidence and a positive mindset.
Arrive Early and Stay Focused
Plan to arrive at the test center early to allow time for check-in procedures. Once inside, stay focused and attentive to the instructions provided by the test administrators.
Don't forget to stay positive and believe in yourself! You've worked hard for this exam and we're proud of you. Good luck!
