A Short Message from Larry Cheung, CFA
Tigerway Parents and Students,
I wanted to wish you and your Family a Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧
I also wanted to provide you an update on the New Digital SAT coming out in 2024 to replace the current SAT format as we know it today.
Throughout this year, we are going to be doing meaningful upgrades to our academic resources surrounding our SAT Examination strategy and playbook as the New Digital SAT will be rolled out in 2024.
We expect that by the time we reach Q4 2023 of this year, most or all of our SAT Coaching (1:1 or Group) will be completely focused on the new test since the current format will be phased out at the end of this year.
That’s right - in 2024, the current format of the SAT in the 1600 format as we know will be completely phased out.
For the Class of 2025 (current sophomores) and underclassmen, the new exam will be digital, adaptive, and challenging.
We will be updating our Digital Library, and our resources accordingly throughout this year so you will not need to worry about where to find practice resources or guidance for the new test.
Additionally, in our latest coaching staff meeting (I am in the top left), we are already taking proactive steps to understand the New Digital SAT’s algorithm even though not much has been public about this exam.
Discussing the New Digital SAT Format in our latest Staff Coaching Meeting
Our Private Coaches at Tigerway have been handpicked by both me and our Program Officer Jasmine Ngo on their excellence on their SAT/ACTs, academic standing in College, and unwavering passion towards education.
Many of them are former Star Alumni in the Program where they achieved transformative outcomes with our methodology and are now successfully implementing this proven process with their students.
We think that it’s especially important for Sophomores to start formulating a plan whether to take the SAT in its current format or to start preparing for the Digital format that is going to take place in 2024.
Juniors should continue their current plan, but parents of Sophomores should take proactive action.
Going forward, we are able to help you with planning questions surrounding the new Digital SAT and how it will impact Class of 2025 and beyond on our roadmap calls.
Our Private Coaches help students from Middle School School (with a focus on 7th or 8th Grade) and High School (9th-11th grade) unlock their academic potential. Build a strong academic foundation, and any challenging macroeconomic environment relating to future internship/job searches can and will be overcome.
Feel free to book a roadmap session today if you questions about how we can help you start planning for the new Digital SAT exam, or relating to your college strategy goals.
Have a wonderful Lunar New Year 🧧 and we wish you all the best this year in your journey! We produced over 50 successful outcomes in 2022 of Tigerway Team Members crossing the 1400+ and 1500+ mark on the SAT along with stronger academic grades and Top 30 U.S University Admission offers.
We look forward to producing many more outcomes this year with a deep committment towards helping you secure the best possible future with a rock-solid academic foundation.
Best,
-Larry Cheung, CFA
